Short for Ariadne Loinsworth, Ary is a Norwegian singer and songwriter who makes a reflective style of electro-pop.
Her voice seems seasoned, and softly stretches over synths, the two resonating in a surprising, altogether pleasing way. Originally from Trondheim, she got a management deal at age 20 and moved to Oslo, where she began meeting with producers. Carl Louis produced her debut single, "Higher," which was released on Eskimo Recordings in mid-2015 and put in rotation on NRK radio.
That same year, Ary appeared as a featured performer on Louis' Warner debut „Telescope“. She expanded her live band, signed with Petroleum Records and Toothfairy, and released the single "The Sea" in September 2016. It served as the theme to the hit NRK TV series Nobel, which premiered that same month. With production by Coucheron, "Childhood Dreams" followed in early 2017, and another single, "Already There," arrived in September. She is currently working on new material.
